Es un yokai con fragmentos de la Perla de Shikon, quería poner un yokai que metiera en la historia. Pensé que sería interesante en términos del desarrollo se enamorara de Kagome que desde un principio. También quería poner un personaje con la capacidad de sentir el peligro, pensé que no sería mala cosa que el personaje huyera sin dudarlo.
